Anyone on Long Island NY knows of Herb’s contribution to libraries across New York State. If you know Herb’s work, then you only know half the story. Brooklyn born, World War II veteran, studied in Chicago and finally landing here on Long Island, Herb tells his story as only Herb can. With help from his long time friend, cohort and tireless library advocate Art Friedman, Art tells the story of his life.
